What is Web3?
Put simply, Web3 is the next generation of the internet;
a decentralized, trustless, and permissionless internet built on blockchain computing.
Put simply, Web3 is the next generation of the internet;
a decentralized, trustless, and permissionless internet built on blockchain computing.
Users interact with the internet and each other without the need of a centralized authority or third-party intermediary. Data is distributed and democratized.
Unlike the central authority vested in companies like Facebook and Twitter, in a permissionless network anyone can participate without authorization from a governing body.
The rules governing transactions are executed through smart contracts allowing users to authenticate network output without needing to trust anyone else on the network.
Users become participants and shareholders, not just customers. In Web3, these shares are called tokens, usually crypto, and they represent a share of interest.
Web3 will enable value exchange between platforms. This allows users of decentralized applications the ability to carry virtual assets and data across different networks.
Web3 will provide a true to life manifestation that pulls a user into a new reality using virtual interfaces that are natural and expressive.
